Israel: The Study of the Modern State

“Israel: The Study of the Modern State” is a self contained packet to provide educators with a 45 minute lesson covering a curriculum of study showcasing the country of Israel and its placement in the Middle East.

The lesson contains:

A roughly 45 minute Power Point presentation with links to websites, video and music
A set of notes to help flesh out the main themes expressed in the presentation
A resource list with further links and printed materials

The basic Power Point and notes are intended to stand alone. They have been designed to be a one class period lesson on the modern state of Israel. Through the discussion questions and the resource list, an educator can expand this lesson into a multi-day experience that would certainly allow for a more intensive study with greater depth and breadth. Please feel free to do so.
