Judge Learned Hand Award

On June 22, OAJC presented its 2011 Judge Learned Hand Lifetime Achievement award to Thomas H. Tongue of Dunn Carney Allen Higgins & Tongue LLP at a special Luncheon held at the Benson Hotel in Portland. At the luncheon OAJC also presented the 2011 Emerging Leadership Award to Darius Hartwell of Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt. Dan Skerritt - the current State Chair of the American College of Trial Lawyers - was the keynote speaker. Event chairs were OAJC Board Member Abra Cooper of Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt, Jay Dudley of Portland General Electric, and Ira Zarov of the Professional Liability Fund, Approximately 175 people attended the event.
